Farah Khan in trouble over Holi comment

Farah Khan is in hot water. A comment she made on a TV show about the Hindu festival of Holi has sparked outrage. Social media influencer and Big Boss 13 contestant Hindustani Bhau is calling for her to be charged with a crime. He says her words were insulting and could have caused trouble between different communities.

The whole thing started on February 20, when Farah Khan was on the show Celebrity MasterChef. She allegedly called Holi a “festival of rogues.” Bhau says this term is derogatory and was used in a way that disrespected the Hindu community. He claims it was also broadcast on national TV, which made things worse.

Bhau’s Complaint

Bhau went to the Khare police station on February 21 to file a complaint. He wanted the police to charge Farah Khan with a crime. He argued that her comment was not only insulting but also had the potential to cause communal unrest.

The police didn’t take any action, so Bhau sent his complaint to higher authorities – the Deputy Police Commissioner and the Additional Police Commissioner. He asked them to take action against Farah Khan. But still, nothing happened. No charges were filed, and no FIR was registered.

Case Goes to Court

Now, Bhau is taking his case to the Bombay High Court. He’s frustrated that the police didn’t do anything, even after he complained. Bhau believes that Farah Khan’s comment was a serious offense and that the police should have taken action. The court will now decide what happens next in this case.

The situation is a reminder that words can have serious consequences, especially when they’re broadcast on national TV. The case against Farah Khan is a complex one, involving issues of free speech, community sensitivity, and the power of media. As the court weighs the evidence, one thing is clear: the impact of Farah Khan’s words will be felt for a long time to come.
