Even Critic Javed Akhtar Calls Son Farhan’s ‘120 Bahadur’ “Amazing”

Veteran lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar has offered high praise for his son Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film, “120 Bahadur.” Akhtar, known for his critical eye, expressed his admiration at the movie’s recent album launch event.

“I have to admit, an excellent film has been made,” Akhtar stated. He added, “Usually I am a critic, and they are not very happy with me. But this time, I must say the film is amazing.”

Akhtar congratulated Farhan Akhtar, who stars in the film, and producer Ritesh Sidhwani. He found the film’s story “unbelievable.” The only reason to believe it, he noted, is that it truly happened.

The film, titled “120 Bahadur,” is set to release on November 21. It is based on the true story of Indian soldiers’ bravery and sacrifice during the 1962 India-China war at Rezang La. Rajneesh Ghai directed the project.

Actress Raashi Khanna, who plays a lead role as an army man’s wife in “120 Bahadur,” also spoke at the event. She called the experience challenging and felt fortunate to be part of the film. Khanna praised the emotional depth of the scenes and thanked Farhan Akhtar for his support.
