Enrique Iglesias is set to make a triumphant return to Mumbai after a 21-year hiatus. The global pop superstar will headline two highly anticipated concerts, drawing significant attention from fans and the Bollywood community alike.
Iglesias will perform on October 29 and 30. Both shows are scheduled to take place at the MMRDA Grounds in the Bandra Kurla Complex. This venue holds significance, as it was the site of his last performance in the city back in 2004.
Fan excitement has been immense. Tickets for the first concert sold out within hours of release, leading organizers to swiftly add a second date.
General admission tickets are priced starting at 7,000 Indian Rupees, approximately $84 USD. VIP passes offer enhanced access, beginning at 14,000 Indian Rupees, which translates to roughly $169 USD.
A significant number of Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend the concerts. Among those anticipated are Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, and Amrita Arora.
The guest list also includes stars such as Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday, Ranveer Singh, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Arbaaz Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Rasha Thadani are also slated to appear.
Furthermore, several prominent members of the influential Ambani family are expected to be in attendance.
Beyond his performances, Iglesias has planned a notable personal engagement. A known admirer of Bollywood, he intends to meet superstar Shah Rukh Khan, along with his wife Gauri Khan and their children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam.
This marks the Grammy-winning artist’s third visit to India. He has expressed a desire to immerse himself in Mumbai’s rich culture and spirituality during his time in the city.
His itinerary includes visits to several key landmarks. Iglesias plans to explore Colaba Causeway, the historic Siddhivinayak Temple, and the Gandhi Museum.
