Prince Henry, grandson of Elizabeth II, and Prince Andrew, son of the British sovereign, will remain barred from Buckingham Palace balcony during the celebration of the 70 years on the throne of the monarchalthough the Dukes of Sussex, Enrique and Meghan, have confirmed that they will be in London for the celebrations.

The list of attendees at the most formal act of the Platinum Jubilee, released today, excludes both dukeswho renounced officially representing the monarchy, such as Andrewwho was also removed from his responsibilities as a result of a lawsuit by sexual assault filed against him.

Although they will not appear in the official photograph on the palace balcony, a spokesman for Henry and Meghan stressed to the media that in June they will be present, along with their children, at the celebrations.

The UK will commemorate the Queen’s Jubilee from June 2-5 with a variety of street events and celebrationsthe most significant of which will be a gala parade in central London presided over by leading members of the royal family.

Among them will be Carlos, Prince of Wales and heir to the throneand his wife Camila, Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Dukes of Cambridge, William and Catherine, with their children.

Elizabeth II, 96, plans to attend the official anniversary events, according to the Palace, although she has canceled numerous engagements in recent months and her presence will not be confirmed until shortly before the celebrations.

On the occasion of the commemoration of the seven decades of reign the sovereignthe British Government has added a bank holiday additional to the annual calendar (June 2) and will allow pubs to open until one in the morning during that weekend, two hours after its usual closing time.
