She also applauded “Anupamaa” and its producer, राजन शाही (Rajan Shahi). “What they have achieved in seven years, no one else has,” she said. “They are number one, and they will stay number one.”

Kapoor emphasized a point she often makes. She believes the industry and fans often create pointless competition between shows and actresses. “We are here to tell our stories,” she explained. “It’s wrong to compare shows and characters. It’s especially wrong to pit women against each other.” Her message is simple: there’s enough room for everyone to shine.
