Eddie Hearn; Anthony Joshua will return to the ring in April

The boxer Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22-1 KOs) last fought on August 20, 2022 and was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) via split decision. Now, His return to the ring seems close.

Eddie Hearn testified for the DAZN Boxing Show that Joshua will begin training next week in the United States with a view to fighting in London in April.

“He will train in the United States and start camp next week,” Hearn said. “April 1st is the designated date in London. I really have to call the final list of opponents, we’re almost done. It’s exciting”.

The promoter indicated that the reason for whichhe British will train in the American continent is to have a little space since he does not have the whole world on top of him as it happens in Europe.

“Can you imagine that Anthony Joshua, where he trains, can go for a walk, visit a coffee shop and have breakfast without someone asking how he is doing? That’s literally impossible in the UKHearn explained.

The announcement about his new coach was pending and Hearn explained that this announcement corresponds entirely to Joshua.

According to the Boxing Social report, the possible candidates to face Joshua are the Swede otto wallin (24-1, 14 KOs) and the Australian demsey mckean (22-0, 14 KOs).

Dmitry Salita, Wallin’s promoter, recently stated that he has spoken with Hearn about a possible fight between the Swede and the British.

McKean sparred with Joshua and stated that he would like to face him after beating Patrick Korte in his last fight.
