Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell have written the three original songs for the soundtrack of the new Pixar film “Turning Red”.
Under the score of the Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and performed by the fictional “boy band” 4 Town, the singles are “Nobody Like U”, “U Know What’s Up” and “1 True Love”.".
In the early hours of this Tuesday, Disney advanced the single “Nobody Like U” accompanied by a video in which they present the characters that will appear on the tape, as well as the lyrics composed by the American brothers, who have gone one step further in their usual musical offering and have given life to a song inspired by the boybands of the early 21st century.
The voices of this fictional musical group are those of Jordan Fisher as Robaire, O’Connell as Jesse, Topher Ngo as Aaron T., Grayson Villanueva as Tae Young and Josh Levi as Aaron Z.
“Turning Red”, which will have its premiere through the Disney + platform on March 11, presents Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl who is torn between continuing to be the obedient daughter of her mother and the chaos that implies the adolescence.
Ming, her overprotective and slightly overbearing mother, is never far from her and as if the changes in her interests, relationships, and her body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited, she turns into a giant red panda.
