Director Abhinav Kashyap has intensified his public feud with actor Salman Khan, labeling him a “criminal” and questioning his suitability for a heroic role. Kashyap specifically criticized Khan’s potential casting as a brave soldier in the upcoming film, “Battle of Galwan.” He asked why an individual he considers a “criminal” would portray such a valiant character.
Kashyap’s remarks were made during a recent interview with Bollywood Thikana. This latest attack follows a prolonged period of animosity between the two, which has seen accusations and counter-accusations.
Previously, Kashyap claimed he gave Khan an opportunity in the film “Dabangg” and that Khan subsequently “stabbed him in the back.” He used a vivid metaphor, stating he is “vomiting out the poison” that Khan and his associates instilled in him.
Salman Khan had indirectly addressed Kashyap’s earlier accusations during a “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode of “Bigg Boss 19.” Without naming Kashyap directly, Khan urged people to focus on their work.
Khan also offered advice on prioritizing family. He stated that it “feels bad” to see someone “ruin themselves,” suggesting that if one desires to pursue family matters, they should focus on their own loved ones, including brothers, parents, wives, and children. The long-standing “cold war” between the director and the superstar continues to escalate publicly.
