Ranveer Singh is on the verge of making Indian cinema history. Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge just finished its first week in theaters. The numbers are absolutely massive. By the end of its seventh day on Wednesday, the Aditya Dhar-directed action thriller raked in an estimated global gross of ₹994.58 crore. It missed the mythical ₹1,000 crore milestone by a razor-thin margin.
This puts the highly anticipated sequel right alongside Pushpa 2: The Rule as the fastest Indian film to ever approach the 1,000-crore mark. Fans packed theaters globally to watch Singh reprise his role as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian operative deep undercover in the Karachi underworld. The domestic box office alone is staggering. The film collected a massive ₹47.70 crore net in India on Wednesday.
That weekday haul pushed the movie’s total domestic net collection to ₹623.42 crore. When you add in the taxes, the gross domestic total sits at ₹744.58 crore. Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Arjun Rampal round out a cast that kept audiences hooked for a grueling three hours and 49 minutes. Overseas markets contributed roughly ₹250 crore to the total.
The original Dhurandhar ended its run with ₹1,300 crore globally in late 2025. This massive follow-up is moving much faster. With the sequel shattering records across the country, theater owners are bracing for a massive second weekend. It will undoubtedly cross the ₹1,000 crore line on Thursday morning.
