President Murmu similarly described Dharmendra’s death as “a great loss to Indian cinema.” She highlighted him as “one of the most popular actors” who delivered countless memorable performances over decades.

The President affirmed that Dharmendra “will always be remembered as a towering figure of Indian cinema.” She added that his legacy “will continue to inspire artists of future generations.”
