Rahul, a seasoned batsman, had just returned to the team after becoming a father and played his first match on Sunday. His experience helped Porel during the game. “Rahul knew how the pitch was behaving after the first innings,” Porel explained. “He supported me, saying I should play my natural shots.”
In the match, Porel contributed 34 runs off 18 balls, with 2 sixes and 2 fours, to help Delhi Capitals win by 7 wickets. Despite Rahul’s return, Porel remained in the playing 11, showcasing his skills as a wicket-keeper and batsman.
