Delhi beat Punjab by 15 runs in thrilling match even Livingstone failed to win

Delhi Capitals (DC) avenged their earlier loss to Punjab Kings (PBKS) by defeating them by 15 runs. Chasing the target of 214 runs in the match played at the Dharamshala Stadium, Punjab Kings could only reach the score of 198 runs from 20 overs. For Punjab, Atharva Tayde played an innings of 55 and Livingston scored 94 runs but failed to win the team.

Chasing the target of 214 runs, Punjab Kings got off to a poor start. The team got the first blow in the second over of the tackle from the hand of captain Shikhar Dhawan who returned to the pavilion without opening the account. For Punjab, left-handed player Atharva Tayde was sent out to bat at number 3 in this match.

Prabhsimran Singh and Atharva Tayde together started the scoring for the team and at the end of 4 overs, the score reached 23 runs. Following this, the Punjab team managed to reach the score of 47 runs with the loss of 1 wicket in the first 6 overs.

Punjab Kings got the second strike in this match from Prabhsimran Singh with a score of 50, who became the victim of Akshar Patel after playing out a 22-run innings on 19 balls. In the last over, the Punjab Kings team managed to score just 17 runs and had to face defeat by 15 runs. For Punjab, Liam Livingston played an excellent innings of 94 runs off 48 balls but failed to win the team.
