However, they bounced back to claim their place in the Super-8s. Although they encountered another setback in the second match of the Super-8 round, they persevered and made it to the semi-finals.
England’s dominance was evident in their match against the USA, where they won the toss and elected to bowl first. The American team was bowled out for 115 runs in 18.5 overs.
