Decathlon Opens 22 Pro Bike Shops Across Spain

Decathlon is taking a big step to get closer to its customers. The global sports brand just opened 22 Pro Shop cycling stores. These new spaces are inside their existing stores. They’re designed for serious cyclists who want the best products and services.

The 22 Pro Shops cover over 11,700 square meters. They’re in areas where a lot of people cycle, like Madrid, Barcelona, and the north of Spain. The store in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, is special. It focuses on road cycling.

The cycling market is changing. People want high-performance bikes, electric bikes, and services to go with them. Decathlon wants to be the go-to choice for all kinds of cyclists, both online and in-store.

A complete experience, near you

The Pro Shops are like a one-stop shop for cyclists. You can find high-performance bikes, accessories, maintenance services, and urban mobility solutions. Decathlon’s own brands, like Van Rysel, Rockrider, and Btwin, are available. They also sell products from other well-known brands like Ridley, Cervélo, and Santa Cruz.

You can also find cycling clothes, technical gear like helmets and accessories, and services like bike testing, subscription, second-hand sales, and repair.

“We want our Pro Shops to show our commitment to cycling,” says Rubén Fernández, Decathlon Spain’s cycling and mobility market leader. “We’re responding to all our customers’ needs, from beginners to experts. We offer the best products and services, with a focus on circularity. It’s a store where cyclists can enjoy and meet all their needs.”

The best team, for the best experience

Decathlon trained 143 sales staff to work in the Pro Shops. They learned about Decathlon’s brands and new products. This means customers get high-quality technical advice, no matter their skill level.

Betting on circularity and new consumption habits

Decathlon is serious about circular economy. They’re selling second-hand high-end and mid-range bikes. They also offer subscription and repair services to make products last longer. This way, they’re promoting accessibility to high-level sports and reducing waste.

Decathlon also opened a second-hand cycling Pro Shop in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Madrid. It’s 180 square meters dedicated to buying and selling used bikes. They have over 120 models from top brands, and the selection changes often.
