Speaking to Variety, he admitted, “It doesn’t feel like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ was released 30 years ago.” He added that no one could have imagined the film would capture hearts worldwide as it has.

Kajol, who starred as Simran, highlighted her character’s deep connection with audiences. She stated that Simran represents millions of young Indian girls.
