Daley Sinkgraven Released by Las Palmas After Contract Termination

Daley Sinkgraven has obtained the Liberty letter after rescinding the contract that linked him to Las Palmas until the end of the season. The Dutch player, who did not enter the plans of the sports management or the coach, has barely had prominence this course. He has participated in only three meetings between LaLiga and the Copa del Rey this campaign. His last game with the yellow shirt dates from October 31. In a season and a half, he has only played 15 games, adding a total of 648 minutes.

Sinkgraven arrived in Gran Canaria after making a career in Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen, where he played Champions and Europa League. However, he did not have the expected impact. Last season, he barely played due to competition with Sergi Cardona. This course, despite the lack of players in the left-handed side position, he has not been important. Álex Muñoz, Benedict, and even Mika Márquez have acted in that position ahead of him.

Return to his country

The idea of Sinkgraven, after terminating his contract with Las Palmas, is to return to his country. He has obtained the Liberty Letter, so he can sign with Fortuna Sittard, eighth classified in the EREDIVISIE. There, he still has a good reputation and hopes to relaunch his career. UD Las Palmas, in a brief statement dedicated to Sinkgraven, “wishes him good luck, both in his future sports and personal projects.”
