Brazilian esports powerhouse paiN Gaming has secured an undefeated path to the playoffs of the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025, a premier Counter-Strike 2 tournament, following a dominant run of three consecutive series victories.
The team solidified its top seeding in the knockout stage on Tuesday, October 28, by sweeping B8 with a decisive 2-0 victory. This win marked their third straight series without a loss in the championship.
paiN Gaming controlled both maps against B8, winning Dust2 with a 13-8 scoreline and then closing out the series on Mirage at 13-10.

The Brazilian squad’s impressive run began with earlier victories over GamerLegion and Gentle Mates. They defeated Gentle Mates 2-0, securing maps Ancient (19-15) and Mirage (13-10).
Against GamerLegion, paiN Gaming emerged victorious 2-1, bouncing back after losing Nuke 10-13. They then claimed Overpass 13-5 and Dust2 13-10 to secure the series.
The PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 playoffs are scheduled to commence on Friday, October 31. Matches will follow a best-of-three format, with single-elimination meaning any loss results in tournament exit.
The grand final, a best-of-five contest, is set for Saturday, November 1. The tournament is classified as a Tier A Counter-Strike (CS2) event.
