The team defeated Astralis 2-0 in a best-of-three series on Tuesday, improving their record to two wins and one loss in the Tier A competition. Playoff rounds are scheduled to commence on Friday.
Legacy secured their maps with scores of 16-14 on Inferno and 13-3 on Nuke. The victory positions them to clinch a playoff berth in their upcoming match.

Legacy is set to face B8 on Wednesday, October 29, at 11:00 AM UTC-3. A win in this match would guarantee their spot in the final stages of the tournament.
Should Legacy win, they will join fellow Brazilian team paiN Gaming, which has already secured a playoff position by winning three consecutive series.
Legacy’s path in the tournament began with a loss to Team Liquid, followed by a recovery victory against Gentle Mates before their win against Astralis. If Legacy loses to B8, they will still have one additional opportunity to qualify before facing elimination.
