Brazilian Counter-Strike team Legacy faces an elimination match at the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 after a narrow 2-1 defeat, placing their tournament hopes on a single upcoming best-of-three series.
The team must secure a victory in its next contest or be eliminated from the Tier A Counter-Strike 2 tournament. A win would advance Legacy to the playoffs.
Legacy will play against FlyQuest on Thursday, October 30, with the losing team exiting the competition. The Brazilian squad currently holds a record of two wins and two losses.
This critical matchup follows Legacy’s loss on Wednesday to B8. The Brazilian team initially took the lead, winning the first map, Dust2, with a dominant 13-3 score.
However, B8 rallied in the subsequent maps, securing Ancient 13-10 and Train 13-11 to clinch the series.
The team acknowledged the setback on social media.
