G2’s CEO, Stilgar, announced on social media that Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov would be joining Falcons. m0NESY’s contract with G2 was set to expire at the end of December, giving him the freedom to negotiate with any team. Stilgar’s statement on X read, “Rumors are true. We have decided to accept the trade of our young goat of CS… Ilya’s contract ends in December of this year, and we decided to make the most of it.” This move marked the end of m0NESY’s journey with G2.

Interestingly, Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov, the current AWPer of Falcons, was awarded the MVP title for the tournament. He will be replaced by m0NESY following this achievement.
