A Brazilian esports squad, Legacy, has advanced to the grand final of the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament following a series of commanding victories on Friday.
The team secured its spot by first defeating fellow Brazilian competitor paiN Gaming 2-1 in the quarterfinals. Legacy then overcame SAW with another 2-1 victory in the semifinals on the same day.
Legacy is now set to face Aurora in the championship match, scheduled for Saturday, November 1st, at 11:00 UTC. The final will be a best-of-five contest.
During their intense semifinal against SAW, Legacy demonstrated resilience, recovering from an initial map loss on Inferno (13-7) to clinch Nuke (16-12) and Ancient (13-3).

Aurora secured their spot in the final after defeating GamerLegion 2-0 in their own semifinal match.
The PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 is a Tier A Counter-Strike 2 tournament, drawing significant attention from the global esports community. Legacy player Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira was part of the winning lineup.
