Cricket Australia Adds 3 New Players to Central Contract List for 2025 Season

Big changes are coming to Australian cricket. The country’s top players are busy with the Indian Premier League, but Cricket Australia just dropped its list of contracted players for the 2025-26 season. Three new faces made the cut: Sam Konstas, Matt Kuhnemann, and Beau Webster.

Konstas started his international career with a test match against India on December 26 last year. He scored 60 runs in the first inning and 8 in the second. Kuhnemann joined the team in 2022 and had a great run against Sri Lanka this year, taking 16 wickets in two test matches. Webster, 31, is the newest member, making his international debut this year. He’s played three tests, scoring 150 runs and taking three wickets.

Cricket Australia tweeted about the new additions, saying “Congratulations to Sam Konstas, Matt Kuhnemann and Beau Webster who are all new additions to the men’s contract list.” The tweet included a photo of the three players.
