In the final match of the league stage, the Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated Barbados Royal by 5 wickets to secure their place in the top 2 of the points table. In the final match, the Guyana Amazon Warriors won the toss and decided to go bowling. Batting first, Barbados Royal went all for 125 in 17.3 overs. In response, the Guyana Amazon Warriors chased this goal in 14.3 overs. Saqib Al Hasan was awarded the man of the match in this match. He played a 53-run inning on 30 balls and also took a 12-run wicket.
When will the playoffs be?
The CPL qualifier (1) will be played on September 27. In this one, the Guyana Amazon Warriors team and Barbados Royal will face each other. The Eliminator will be played on September 28. In this one, the team of Jamaica Tallawahs and St. Lucia Kings will face each other. The second qualifier will be played on September 29 while the final will be played on October 1.
What will the playoff games be like?
In CPL playoffs are also organized like IPL. In this, Qualifier 1 will be played between the top two teams and the Eliminator will be played between the third and fourth ranked teams. While the team that wins Qualifier 1 will qualify for the final and the team that wins the Eliminator and the team that loses in Qualifier 1 will compete in Qualifier 2 for their place in the final.
