Riyadh: In view of the increasing cases of corona in Saudi Arabia, the relevant agencies took action.
According to Arab media reports, the municipalities, including the Ministry of Health and its subsidiaries, have stepped up their operations in the country so that SOPs can be implemented in all areas. Citizens have also been warned in this regard.
The report said that the municipality of Taif region has made 23,000 investigative visits to different markets in recent days while the municipality has also formed various investigation teams in the region.
In Saudi Arabia, municipal-appointed investigative teams are investigating markets and commercial establishments to ensure compliance with social distance regulations, and fines have been imposed.

The Saudi Interior Ministry says violations of the precautionary measures could result in fines ranging from 10,000 riyals to 200,000 riyals.
Similarly, letting people go without a mask in commercial establishments would be considered a violation of SOPs. Breaking SOPs twice could result in double the fine.
