Comedy: with “8 rue of humanity”, Dany Boon reenacts confinement

Dany Boon is visiting the Ch’tits. The director was, on Friday, September 24, in Pas-de-Calais to present his latest film: 8 street of humanity, which will be released on Netflix in October. A comedy inspired by the different confinements that we have experienced.

For an evening, the small town of Vitry-en-Artois (Pas-de-Calais) takes on the air of the Cannes festival. The fans are there to cheer the native child, Dany Boon, who came to present his new film 8 street of humanity. “Frankly it’s moving, we weren’t expecting it”, blows a fan. The stars are also three young people from the village. During confinement, they delivered groceries to the elderly. “When we learned that it was Netflix and Dany Boon, we looked at each other, at the time we did not know what to say”remembers Léo Guéant, volunteer.

“These are great initiatives, it made sense in relation to what the film tells, to highlight these everyday heroes”, explains Danny Boon. Solidarity is the essence of this film, which tells the story of a building during confinement. Caricatured situations that spoke to all the spectators. “We went through the same thing”, abounds a spectator. And to close the evening, the film crew took part in a neighbors party.
