The unregulated, extreme escalation of the internet’s “looksmaxxing” subculture has finally collided with real-world law enforcement. Braden Eric Peters, the 20-year-old viral streamer known to millions as “Clavicular,” was arrested Thursday by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. He faces charges of misdemeanor battery and criminal conspiracy to commit battery. Bond was set at $1,000. The out-of-county warrant from Osceola County accuses Peters of instigating and filming a physical fight between two women strictly for social media clout.
The arrest stems from a February 2 incident at a short-term rental near Kissimmee, Florida. According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, who released the warrant details on Friday, Peters orchestrated a brawl between a 24-year-old woman identified as Violet Marie Lentz and a 19-year-old. He allegedly filmed the altercation specifically to exploit it for his followers.

The timing is catastrophic for the streamer. Just hours before his arrest, he triggered a separate, massive internet backlash. Peters is currently under investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. During a highly publicized 30-day live “subathon,” Peters and his friends streamed themselves on an Everglades airboat repeatedly shooting an alligator. The broadcast abruptly ended. His Kick account was temporarily taken down.
Peters built an empire on controversy. Earning a reported $100,000 a month, he sits at the center of a toxic corner of digital entertainment. His brand revolves around “looksmaxxing,” a movement where young men undergo radical physical alterations. He promotes dangerous, pseudoscientific practices. He champions “bone smashing” to alter facial structures. He broadcasts himself injecting fat-dissolving peptides. Now, that relentless push for viral fame has resulted in criminal charges.
