Calm has returned to the crypto market for a while, but most of the prices from the top 100 are colored red. Yesterday, bitcoin held up more strongly than the altcoins, and today it is the other way around. In addition, another infamous storm meme coin into the top 100. The total market capitalization of crypto is down 1.6% to $1.21 trillion.

Bitcoin back below $28,000
Bitcoin (BTC) hit $29,000 yesterday for the first time since June 2022, but it turned out to be a so-called fakeout to go. Bitcoin quickly rebounded and then fell deeper. This morning, bitcoin even dips to $27,600, but is back above $27,800 at the time of writing. Nevertheless, the BTC price is down 3% and the market dominance is diminishing slightly.

Ethereum price drops by 0.5%
Ethereum (ETH) and most altcoins are holding up slightly stronger today. Despite this, ether is currently dropping below $1,800 again and is trading around $1,790. This puts ETH down 0.5% today.

Crypto top 10 turns red
Binance coin (BNB) made two big dips in the past 24 hours, but is now back at around $316, the same price as 24 hours ago. Ripple (XRP) just saw two big spikes, but is currently back at around $0.355, also the same price as 24 hours ago.
However, Dogecoin (DOGE) is down 1.2% at $0.074. Solana (SOL) is already losing 2% of its value and is around $20.2. Polygon (MATIC) even drops 2.7% to $1.08.
Cardano only climber in crypto top 10
Cardano (ADA) is the exception today. The ADA price made quite a jump this morning and is therefore around $ 0.385. Because of that increase, ADA is suddenly about 2.4% higher today.

Crypto top 100 hardest fallers
Although the top 100 mainly turns red, that is less than 4% for most prices. However, we have a handful of coins that are falling harder. Neo (NEO) is down 4.3% to $12.1, frax share (FXS) is down 4.6% to $8.4 and flare (FLR) is down a whopping 6.2% to close in at around $0.035. However, Stacks (STX) loses even 6.8% of its value and drops to $0.89.
XLM, KAS, HBAR strongest climbers crypto top 100
The green side of the top 100 is very scant today. Stellar (XLM) is nevertheless up 3.4% to $0.11, Kaspa (KAS) is already up 8% to $0.0298. Then we have hedera (HBAR) which is up almost 10% to USD 0.07.

Finally, we have baby doge coin (BABYDOGE). This volatile memecoin re-enters the top 100 after rising nearly 35% in the past 24 hours. The BABYDOGE price just touched $0.0000000029.
