Cardano announces important new partnership

The Cardano Foundation, an organization that oversees the development of the Layer 1 blockchain, has a partnership announced with the Brazilian state energy company Petrobras. The Cardano Foundation will provide blockchain training and further expand the adoption of blockchain technology. The partnership is in line with one of the Cardano Foundation’s key five-year plans.

Crypto education program for Petrobas

At X, the Cardano Foundation gives in News announced that for the first time it will provide a blockchain training program to more than 40,000 employees of Petrobras, the largest company in Brazil and South America. The Contents of Blockchain Education Program is offered by Petrobas University.

With the training program, participants explore the potential of blockchain, learn about various use cases and applications of blockchain, and complete interactive tests on various topics.

To launch the various training programs, the Cardano Foundation also organized two workshops in the Metaverse. This is about the blockchain regulations in Brazil, but also about the blockchain regulations in the rest of the world.

CEO Cardano Foundation excited about collaboration

Frederik Gregaard, CEO of the Cardano Foundation, reacted enthusiastically:

“Our partnership with Petrobras – a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world – underscores both the industry’s interest in blockchain education and the growing reach of the Cardano Foundation and its mission. We are pleased to work with Petrobras to educate and explore new use cases for blockchain technology.”

Additionally, the partnership is in line with one of Cardano’s key goals, announced by the Cardano Foundation in 2021, which aimed to strengthen relationships with Fortune 500 companies.

Participants receive NFTs

In addition to the fact that participants of the various blockchain training courses receive a certificate upon completion of the training, they can also receive a non-fungible token (NFT). The first 500 participants of the training will receive NFTs created in collaboration with the Petrobas Education Board. The NFTs are dynamic and can display each participant’s progress and milestones during and after training.
