Ugo Carabelli, ranked 175th in the ATP world ranking, took an hour and 45 minutes to beat Collarini (260th), born in the United States 30 years ago and nationalized Argentine, to win the Challenger on clay, which distributed 53,120 dollars in prizes.

Carabelli had just beaten Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (111th) in the semifinals by 3-6, 6-1 and 6-0; while Collarini had beaten Argentine Genaro Olivieri (265th) 6-4, 6-1.

The tournament, which was played on the main court “Diego Schwartzman” of the Club Náutico Hacoaj in the City of Tigre, belongs to the Challenger 80 category.

This is the first of a series of three events that will continue in Salvador de Bahía (Brazil) the week of May 2 and in Coquimbo (Chile) from May 9.
