The pound fell sharply again on Thursday against the dollar, weighed down by concern about the british finance after the rating agency Fitch downgraded "steady" a "negative" UK note outlook.
Against a US currency buoyed by the Federal Reserve’s willingness to hike rates, the British currency was down 1.17% at $1.1194 at 1455 GMT.
On the other hand, the obligations of the british state 10-year bonds rose 0.19 percentage points to 4.22%.
