Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma have surpassed the previous record of 241 runs held by Pakistani openers Kiran Baloch and Sajida Shah, set in 2004. The pair has become the first opening pair to achieve a partnership of 250 plus runs in women’s Test cricket.
