Many years ago, in 1983, Boney Kapoor married Mona Kapoor. They had two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. Years later, after divorcing Mona, Boney married actress Sridevi in 1996. Mona’s Extraordinary Gesture
Boney Kapoor appeared on Chanda Kochhar’s YouTube channel for this candid chat. He explained that he told Mona his truth about his feelings. Then came a truly astonishing revelation. He pointed to the ring he wears, and mentioned the one Sridevi used to wear. He stated that Mona herself bought both those rings. Mona also raised their children without ever letting anger or bitterness poison their minds.
Boney Kapoor admitted to feeling a heavy heart during those times. He remembered a letter from his son, Arjun Kapoor. In it, young Arjun asked, “Why don’t you come home?” This question made Boney feel terrible. He described feeling torn between his new wife, Sridevi, and his children from his first marriage. Interestingly, he has also stepped into acting. In 2023, he appeared in the film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,’ which starred Ranbir Kapoor. In that movie, Boney played the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s character’s father.
