As reported by Catalunya Radio, the FC Barcelona is looking for options to strengthen its offense in the next summer transfer market and one of the names that the club’s sports management likes is Luis Diaz.
The Colombian is a profile that Xavi Hernández likes a lot and that would fit perfectly within the team’s needs, taking into account his ability to make a difference from his speed and imbalance.

The Blaugrana team needs a top-level left winger to form an attack along with Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembélé, who have established themselves as key players in Xavi Hernández’s system. And the Colombian would be the ideal piece for that need. The intention of FC Barcelona is to be able to sell several offensive players who have not finished performing at the level expected by all (Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati) to have money to invest and try to get the services of the Colombian.
The problem with the operation is that Luis Díaz has a long-term contract with Liverpool (until the summer of 2027) and the Red team has no intention of selling him in the short term.
