Pamela Chopra, wife of veteran Hindi film director Yash Chopra, passed away today. This was officially confirmed by Yash Raj’s Twitter user. Pamela, 74, was ill for a long time. The famous screenwriter Javed Akhtar tweeted a tribute to Pamela. Javed wrote: “Shri Yash Chopra’s wife Pam (Pamela) passed away today. She was a great woman. Smart, educated and happy. The famous singer Armaan Malik reminisced about his old days with Pamela. He wrote, “I remember when I used to save money every day to record my songs at YRF studio. I was between 17 and 18 years old and this was my first understanding of love and togetherness, when I saw Pamela Chopra walking towards her Empire hand in hand with her husband Yash Chopra.
