Including all these earnings, Bollywood has achieved a total revenue of 1260 crores rupees in August.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2 is the biggest movie out of August this year. Gadar 2 collected many times more than the other films. Next on the list is the name OMG 2, which has starred Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam.
According to the ETimes report, ‘Gadar 2’ has made a significant contribution to the Bollywood industry, grossing a whopping Rs 631.8 million worldwide. Whereas OMG 2 made a deal of 336.1 crores. In August itself, Karan Johar’s film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was released on July 29, but the film achieved tremendous success in August, earning 336.1 crores.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Dream Girl 2’ also hit theaters on August 25 and within seven days the film grossed Rs 89.1 million. In this way, Bollywood achieved a total turnover of 1260 crore rupees in August. In such a situation, it can be said that the month of August was great for the Hindi film industry.
