Henry Félix, owner of a grocery store in the area, indicated that every day they go without electricity for hoursand they assume that it is because, in the locality, the electricity corporation is carrying out some repair work.

“The rate is more expensive. I used to pay eight thousand and I am paying from fifteen to sixteen thousand in the last three months. It is becoming more expensive for everyone”, added the merchant.

Likewise, an employee of a nearby store supported the discomfort due to the “terrible” behavior of the service in the sector.

Of the sectors visited, it was the only one that reported failures in the electrical service, however the other locations visited by the reporters of this medium received complaints regarding the increase in the electrical service rate, which they say affects the family budget.

In the case of Miguel Ángel, who was paying his electricity bill at a post office in Edeeste, close to his home, he stated that the problem is that there are no counters, until then the corporation is charging a “fixed fee” that is higher than it should be.

“My rate is excessively high, I have to pay it because I don’t have an accountant and they (Edeeste) don’t either,” said Miguel.
