Which crypto an exchange supports is decisive for many investors and traders in their choice of which trading platform they will use. In the past, a large number of Dutch people used to go to large international exchanges for their crypto business. But closer to home, the range is increasingly extensive today, including at Bitvavo.
Bitvavo now also supports BNB withdrawals
An exchange can support a cryptocurrency to varying degrees. For example, it can only support trading in it, which means that users cannot make withdrawals or deposits in that specific crypto. Dogecoin is a good example of this; Bitvavo does support DOGE trading, only deposits and withdrawals not yet.
This means that a trader must deposit euros or a crypto from which deposits are accepted before he or she can buy DOGE. This can be inconvenient for some investors, especially if you only have some dogecoin in your own wallet and want to do something with it.
Fortunately, Bitvavo is still expanding support for cryptocurrencies. On this page you can see which cryptocurrencies are supported and to what extent. One of the most recent additions is BNB, the cryptocurrency of the BNB Chain ecosystem. Recently, Bitvavo users can also withdraw BNB from their account. It is important to mention that this is possible with wallets approved by Bitvavo.
