After a period of nice gains, the Bitcoin price has stagnated around 24 thousand dollars. Most major altcoins also stand still, but and are a few exceptions. The two largest memecoins, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, have made significant gains in recent days.
Bitcoin stagnates around 24 thousand dollars
The Bitcoin price has been quite volatile in recent days. Even on the weekend, a time when the price usually calms down, we saw quite severe price swings.
Bitcoin’s price rose above $25,000 for the first time in more than two months. When this barrier was finally broken, the price reached a local high of $25,200, but this price gain did not last long. Almost immediately, the price fell by more than a thousand dollars, pushing the price below 24 thousand dollars. Since then, BTC has been consolidating around this level.
