Bills Advance to AFC Divisional Round But What’s Next in Baltimore

Divisional Round Matchups Set

The Buffalo Bills secured their spot in the divisional round of the American Conference (AFC) with a convincing 31-7 win over the Denver Broncos. They will host the Baltimore Ravens next week. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Houston Texans in the other AFC divisional matchup.

Josh Allen, a top contender for the Most Valuable Player award, led the Bills with 272 passing yards and two touchdown passes. James Cook also had a standout performance, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown.

The Broncos started strong, scoring a touchdown in just two and a half minutes. However, the Bills’ defense held its ground, limiting them to just seven points. The Bills then took control, establishing their ground offense and scoring a touchdown to take a 10-7 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Bills extended their lead to 21-7 with a field goal and a touchdown reception from Ty Johnson. They sealed the win with another touchdown pass to Curtis Samuel and a field goal in the fourth quarter, ending the game 31-7.

The wild card round kicked off on Saturday with the Houston Texans defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 32-12 and the Baltimore Ravens beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, and Green Bay Packers will face off in the National Conference (NFC) wild card round today.

The Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings will play on Monday to determine the third spot in the NFC divisional round. The game will be held in Arizona due to the devastating fires in Los Angeles, California.
