Betis Faces Getafe Without Abde Due to Contusion Injury

Abde is lost to the coliseum visit for a contusion

Abde is the latest player to join the long list of casualties for Betis as they travel to Madrid to face Getafe tomorrow. The Moroccan suffered a contusion during Thursday’s Conference League match and, despite initial hopes he might be available, he won’t be joining his team this weekend.

Thus, Pellegrini has released a list of 20 players, including three youth players, for the upcoming match. Abde joins the already injured Bellerín and William Carvalho, as well as Fornals, who is in the final phase of his recovery. Ortiz is also out with an ankle sprain, while Giovani Lo Celso is dealing with a muscle injury in his soleus, and Marc Roca was injured in last Sunday’s match against Real Sociedad.

On a more positive note, the team welcomes back Perraud after serving a one-match suspension for accumulation of yellow cards. Cucho Hernández is also back, having started against Real Sociedad but missed the Conference League match due to registration issues. Bakambu, who missed the Gent match due to a minor finger issue, is also available. Meanwhile, rumors of Titor Roque’s potential departure to Palmeiras continue, but he remains with the team for now. Manu González joins Adrián and Vieites as the third goalkeeper.

The squad is as follows:
– Goalkeepers: Adrián, Vieites, and Manu González
– Defenses: Sabaly, Ruibal, Bartra, Diego Llorente, Natan, Ricardo Rodríguez, and Perraud
– Midfielders: Johnny Cardoso, Altimira, Mateo Flores, Isco Alarcón, Antony, and Jesús Rodríguez
– Front: Chimy Ávila, Vitor Roque, Bakambu, and Cucho Hernández.

With this lineup, Betis is set to face Getafe in what promises to be an exciting match at the Coliseum.
