Injured Benfica defender Amar Dedic has been called up to Bosnia-Herzegovina’s national squad despite a recent adductor injury, suggesting an imminent return to action.
Dedic has been sidelined from Benfica’s lineup since sustaining the left adductor injury during a match against Newcastle. His recent activities have been limited to treatment and gym work.
The national team call-up implies his recovery is progressing quickly, ahead of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s upcoming fixtures.
The team is scheduled to face Romania on November 18, followed by Austria three days later.
Other Benfica players also received international call-ups for the same FIFA break. Ivanovic was named to the Croatia squad, while Trubin and Sudakov will represent Ukraine.
