Bad Bunny questions the Grammy he lost to Harry Styles

«Entonces fue un robo»: Bad Bunny sobre el Grammy que perdió con Harry Styles

Singer Bad Bunny spoke about the award in the Album of the Year category, which Harry Styles won at the Grammy Awards, after several months of the ceremony.

The Puerto Rican’s album “Un Verano sin ti” broke several records worldwide and was nominated; but it went up against other music industry heavyweights like Beyoncé’s “Renaissance,” Adele’s “30” and “Mr. “Morale & The Big Steppers,” among others.

The winner of the category was the Briton Harry Styles with his work “Harry’s House”. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Bad Bunny reflected on what losing that Grammy Award meant to him.

“Maybe they weren’t prepared for a Spanish album to win the big prize… I didn’t even feel like they had stolen (the album of the year) from me until the media started saying so,” he said.

Bad Bunny questions the Grammy Awards

The artist of songs such as “Me Porto Bonito” and “Ojitos Lindas” suggested that his accusation was not directed at Harry, but at the Grammy Awards.

“I saw that everyone thought I deserved the award and everyone thought it was a robbery…” Then they convinced me and I said, ‘Well, so it was a robbery,'” Benito said.

In fact, Bad Bunny spoke emotionally about Harry Styles, describing his Love on Tour concert in Los Angeles as “brutal.”

The truth is that the singer didn’t leave empty handed as he won the Grammy for Best Latin Urban Music Album.

The reggaeton singer also used the interview to complain about the lack of Spanish subtitles during the broadcast of the ceremony; as only the phrase “singing in another language” was included.

“It’s ugly to say I took it as normal. So it was like, wow, wait, what the fuck? Why don’t they have anyone? I knew I would be there,” he said.
