Ayushmann Khurrana Fulfills Indian Women’s Team’s ‘Dream Girl’ Voice Request

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, serving as a UNICEF India Ambassador, recently met with the Indian women’s cricket team. The interaction occurred during an ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 group match between India and Bangladesh. The game was played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

During the visit, the players playfully engaged with Khurrana, making a unique request. Bowler Sneh Rana specifically asked the actor to speak in the distinctive “Pooja” voice from his hit film, ‘Dream Girl’. Khurrana initially hesitated, jokingly noting his beard might make the voice less convincing.

However, he relented to the team’s enthusiasm, performing the popular voice, which delighted the players. This lighthearted exchange was captured and shared by the ICC on social media.
