A major controversy has erupted around Bigg Boss 19, with former contestant Awez Darbar accusing Amaal Mallik of lying about his past connection with Malti Chahar. Darbar claims Mallik is playing a "double game" within the reality show.
Darbar specifically stated that Mallik "twisted facts" and made false claims about him. He alleges Mallik is presenting a fabricated story to appear innocent regarding Malti Chahar.
According to Darbar, Mallik asserted he had met Malti for "only 5 minutes." However, Darbar maintains the two contestants knew each other prior to entering the Bigg Boss house.
Darbar shared his strong sentiments on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He explicitly called out Mallik for being dishonest.
Amaal has not only twisted things… he has also lied about me. In Malti’s case too, he is acting clean by telling everyone a false story.

Darbar also commented on fellow housemates Shehbaz and Neelam. He suggested their reactions revealed their inability to confront Mallik. He added that "everyone’s double game" has become apparent on the show.
In other Bigg Boss 19 news, contestant Praneet More has exited the show. His departure was attributed to health issues.
The competition now continues with Tanya Mittal, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Abhishek Bajaj, Malti Chahar, Kunika Sadanand, Ashnoor Kaur, Neelam Giri, and Farhana Bhatt.
