Austrian GP Returns with Sprint Format
The Formula 1 (F1) action resumes in the Austrian GP, with a busy weekend ahead. This Friday will see only one free practice session, followed by the sprint format. With low expectations, Fernando Alonso will be relying on Aston Martin to make the most of the limited practice time.
In contrast, Carlos Sainz has more optimistic expectations, as Ferrari has made improvements and needs to fine-tune its package. The Red Bull Ring’s unique layout could favor Ferrari and help the team regain its top spot.
The sprint format will bring maximum equality among teams, with McLaren emerging as a strong contender to take the win from Red Bull. Max Verstappen, however, is known for getting the most out of his car, while Mercedes will be looking to repeat its previous successes.
