Apple Shatters Revenue Record Again, Fueled by iPhone 17 Sales

Apple Inc. reported record-breaking quarterly revenue, surpassing analyst expectations, largely driven by robust global sales of its recently launched iPhone 17.

The technology giant announced total revenues of $102.466 billion for its third fiscal quarter of 2025. This figure represents a significant 7.94% increase compared to the $94.930 billion reported in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Sales of the iPhone grew by 6.1% year-over-year in the quarter. This growth was primarily attributed to improvements in the base model’s front camera and screen, alongside a new design for the iPhone 17 Pro.

The company also noted that its installed base of active devices reached a historic record across all product categories worldwide. For the full fiscal year, Apple achieved total revenues of $416 billion.

The third fiscal quarter, spanning from July to September, captured only a portion of the iPhone 17 sales. The device officially launched on September 19, 2025, meaning these results reflect just over a week of its availability.

For the quarter, revenue breakdown by product category was as follows: iPhone generated $49.025 billion, up from $46.222 billion in Q3 2023. Services revenue reached $28.75 billion, increasing from $24.972 billion. Mac sales climbed to $8.726 billion from $7.744 billion, and iPad revenues saw a minor increase to $6.952 billion from $6.950 billion. Wearables, home, and accessories, however, saw a slight dip to $9.013 billion from $9.042 billion in the previous year’s third quarter.

The iPhone continues to be Apple’s primary revenue driver, exceeding $49 billion in sales for the period. Other segments like Mac, iPad, and Services also demonstrated growth, contributing to the overall strong financial performance.
