iOS, iPadOS and macOS apps that allow users to create an account will need to provide users with a method to delete their accounts from within the app itself.
as explained The Verge, from January 31st, Apple will force All new apps (and updates) will need to include the option to delete the account.
Apple only requires developers to allow users “Start deleting your account from the app”, so apps can send you to a website or even chat with an agent before you can close your account.
Hopefully, this will make it easier for users to abandon apps they never plan to use again.
Apple has made other recent adjustments to the App Store, such as allowing users to rate the company’s own apps.
