There are many such movies in the Hindi film industry that have been made a remake of one or another movie. It also includes Sansar Ka, directed by Ek Naam T Rama Rao and starring Rekha, Anupam Kher and Raj Babbar. It was the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Sansaram Adhu Minsaram’. This movie brilliantly tried to show the effect of rising inflation on the life of the common man.

The story of Postmaster Deendayal’s (Anupam Kher) family, which is facing inflation, is shown very well in the film. How does he run his house? Due to inflation and his low income, he is only able to educate his eldest son (Raj Babbar), while his youngest son works as a mechanic. The effect of inflation on his house is visible when the eldest son has the illusion that the entire house is run on his own earnings. Then the matter gets so bad that after which both stoves separate.

The director of the film had dealt very well with the rising inflation, showing the conflict between father and son. As a father he works many jobs simultaneously to give money to his son. The rise in inflation has been explained quite correctly through some scenes in the movie. It is shown in one scene that when Raj Babbar adds the count for the month, he also starts counting his son’s milk cartons. Rekha tells them that now the baby’s cans of milk will also be counted.

Apart from Anupam Kher, Raj Babbar and Rekha, Shekhar Suman also appeared in this film released in the year 1987. The story of this film was written by Vishu. Anupam Kher’s performance in the film was highly appreciated.

Speaking of the present of the main cast of this film, Anupam Kher was seen in the film The Kashmir Files a few months ago. Other than this, Rekha is now rarely seen in movies while Raj Babbar is active in politics.
