A cheating case has come to light with Bollywood actress Annu Kapoor. It was reported in the news that the amount invested by Annu Kapoor and his family in the company is around Rs 1.5 million. The actor and his family had been investing for years as part of an investment program. In return, Annu Kapoor and his family members get profits every month and around Rs 1.5 million are stuck in this plan.
CA and investment consultant Amber Dalal has absconded with (estimated) billions of rupees from hundreds of people. The total information about how many crores the case is worth and how many rupees were cheated has not been revealed. Little by little, the victims become aware of the lost money. However, it is speculated that this case could also be a Rs 500-1000 crore scam.
After Amber Dalal’s disappearance, the victims lodged a complaint with the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. Due to the financial nature of this case, the entire matter is currently being investigated by the Economic Crimes Unit. This fraud case has been registered under Section 420, Section 409 and Section 406 of the Indian Penal Code.
So far, a total of 407 people, including Annu Kapoor, have filed a police complaint against fraudster Amber Dalal. Amber Dalal used to give investors an annual return of 18 to 22 percent on investments.
In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, scam victim Annu Kapoor told that he and his family members had been investing in his company through Amber Dalal for the last five to six years, but since last month, Amber Dalal was not the only one who stopped investing just stopped paying out winnings from the amount spent, he also disappeared in his house and now even the police can’t find him.
Annu Kapoor told that Amber Dalal used to live in his building and knew him. Annu Kapoor said that since the money is stuck, he is also trying to meet Mumbai Police Commissioner and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Annu Kapoor said in the interview that he was in touch with his son and MP Shrikant Shinde and had also received a call from Shrikant just before the interview.
Annu Kapoor said that there are people who are victims of Amber Dalal and have invested their entire life’s earnings. In such a situation, it is very important to think about these people and do justice to them. After falling victim to a scam, Annu Kapoor folded his hands in a wide-ranging interview with ABP News and said he would like to tell the public that greed is a bad thing and even if you get less interest if you keep money in the Bag holds bank, do not invest money in such schemes.
