Andrew Garfield & Monica Barbaro Relationship Timeline: From Dating Rumors to Wimbledon

Hollywood loves a good romance, especially one that plays a bit coy with the spotlight. That’s exactly the story for actors Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro. These two have done a pretty good job keeping their relationship hush-hush.

Their first public sighting together was at W Magazine‘s Best Performances party in Los Angeles. Andrew and Monica were just part of the crowd, seen chatting with other guests. But it wasn’t long, just a month later, before whispers started. Suddenly, reports suggested they might be more than just friends.

Neither Andrew nor Monica has spoken about their dating life. Andrew, known from The Amazing Spider-Man films, has always been open about keeping his personal life, especially his relationships, private. He once shared his thoughts on public romances. "How many of those relationships work?" Garfield said on an October 2024 episode of Chicken Shop Date. "I mean, usually they are passing things."

Even with their silence, cameras have caught the pair together several times. Their big public debut as a couple happened in July 2025. They were seen holding hands at Wimbledon, dressed in matching white outfits. It was a clear sign that this quiet romance was officially out in the open.

Here’s a closer look at their journey:
